The purpose of the Bay County Sheriff's Office Drug Take Back Program is for the safe and confidential disposal for unused prescription drugs.  The red lock box is located in the lobby of the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 503 Third St., Bay City, MI 48708.  Simply drop your unused or unwanted prescriptions into the box during business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

This box is not intended for syringes or liquid medications.

NOTE FROM SHERIFF TROY R. CUNNINGHAM

"It is especially important to dispose of unwanted prescription meds as the county is in the grips of a heroin epidemic, and frequently addicts will look through medicine cabinets looking for opiate - based painkillers".
