Bay County military Veterans may file their military discharge papers, form DD214, at the Bay County Clerk's office for no charge.

WHO CAN OBTAIN A COPY?
- Military discharge papers are not public records.
- Veterans are entitled to a free copy of their own military discharge papers when they present a current valid photo ID.
- A family member can obtain a copy of the record if they present a certified death certificate of the veteran on record.
