Bay City Area Transportation Study (BCATS) Committee Meetings

The Bay City Area Transportation Study is governed by a Policy Committee which includes various elected and appointed officials from the transportation planning area, as well as members from the Michigan Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation. 

The Policy Committee generally acts under the advisement of the BCATS Technical Advisory Committee. The Technical Committee reviews in greater detail the activities of the BCATS and provides recommendations to the Policy Committee. The Technical Advisory Committee is composed of professional transportation representatives from both public and private entities, incorporating various planning and engineering expertise within the area.

Typically, the Policy Committee meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 1:30 p.m. in the 1st Floor conference room of the Bay County Veteran's Affairs Department, located at 515 Center Ave, Bay City, Michigan.

The Technical Committee typically meets on the second Tuesday in of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the same location. All meeting dates, times, and locations may be subject to change. 

All agendas will be made available one week prior to the meeting.  All meeting minutes will be available after approval following the next respective committee meeting. 

All meetings are open to the public!
