The Bay County Health Department's Emergency Preparedness Division is responsible for collaborating with public and private agencies to assure our response during an emergency is effective in protecting Bay County residents. Our goals are focused in the areas of education and training, conducting mass prophylaxis clinics in coordination with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and detailing activities to be performed in the event of public health emergencies. We believe an educated population is a key ingredient to having a successful emergency preparedness program.
