The Health Education Division is dedicated to improving the well-being of our residents by providing the tools, resources, and information necessary to lead healthier lives. We believe that health starts where we live, learn, work, and play, and our mission is to make the "healthy choice the easy choice" for everyone in our community.

Engaging with Our Community: You can find us year-round at most local health fairs and community events throughout the area. We provide a wide array of educational resources covering essential topics such as wellness, immunizations, chronic disease prevention (heart disease, stroke, cancer), sexual health, and substance abuse. Research Tools for Students: Are you working on a school or university project?  Our 2025 Community Health Assessment is our most advanced community health resource yet. Our health assessment features a dynamic website back-end that updates health statistics as soon as the data is released, making it a reliable source for in-depth health data in the area.
