The Bay County Health Department works actively to reduce the potential harms of cannabis use among youth and pregnant individuals. A core focus of this program is community safety and prevention. We utilize these funds to distribute free soft- and hard-shell locking storage bags to the public, ensuring cannabis products are kept securely out of reach of children. Additionally, this funding supports evidence-based public education campaigns, provider training, and the distribution of educational resources to promote healthy birth outcomes and youth wellness across the county.
