Community Center Pool - Design Updates

Bay County is proud to announce the completed design for the new Community Center Pool. This design was developed to serve swimmers of all ages, abilities, and interests. This modern facility reflects our commitment to providing inclusive, engaging, and innovative recreational opportunities for the entire community.

The pool will feature:

A zero-entry, ADA-accessible design
Play areas and slides for all age groups
Basketball and volleyball zones
Climbing walls and ziplines
Aquatic ninja course
Dedicated space for lap swimming, swim lessons, and community aquatic programs

Construction begins this spring and will be open to the public in June 2027.

We extend our sincere thanks to Spence Brothers, Baruzzini Aquatics, William A. Kibbe & Associates, and our dedicated Bay County staff for their tireless efforts. This project would not have been possible without the support of our voters, community members, and swim advocates. Together, we’re building a treasured community asset for generations to enjoy.

At the start of this process, Bay County commissioned a Feasibility Study for the community pool.
