The Fairgrounds, by far Bay County's most widely utilized county recreational facility, is used year-round for leisure-time activities. Family picnics and reunions, company picnics, car shows, and trailer rallies are often spotted at the Fairgrounds. The Bay County Fair, sponsored by the Bay County Fair Board, is held annually at the Fairgrounds in early August. The Community Canteen Hall Building can be rented for wedding receptions, showers, graduation parties, reunions, etc.
