The County Tournament
The annual 'County Tournament' is a long-running tradition of the Bay County Golf Course. An amateur tournament that started in 1922 and has been held at the Bay County Golf Course every year since 1968. The golf course prides itself on this event. We feel like this tournament is the closest event most will get to playing in the "Big Time". With galleries and sign bearers, your adrenaline is sure to flow when you step on that first tee. The tournament is broken down into 5 flights determined by handicaps and brings out the best players in the County.
The County Tournament is held the first FULL weekend of August. This 36-hole amateur stroke play tournament is a summer classic!
