County government is no different than any other organization when it comes to the area of technology. The county recognizes the requirement to provide user departments with a centralized resource where they can receive assistance in creating innovative solutions to their needs through the use of technology.
Established in 1979, the Information Systems Division has been serving county departments in procuring hardware, software, and support for the various systems that serve departments and the public. It is also a major resource for maintaining both the county's Technology Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
