At Bay County, the health and safety of our animals is our top priority. As a no-kill shelter, we take pride in finding loving homes for 94% of the cats and dogs in our care. With a record number of animals, we recognized the need for a larger and more advanced facility to ensure the highest standards of care. Thanks to the overwhelming support from Bay County voters, we’re now making that vision a reality.
Since the millage passed, I have worked tirelessly with our partners at Spence Brothers, William A. Kibbe & Associates, and GBA to design a building that is functional, efficient, and meets the highest quality standards for the health and safety of our animals.
Please join us for the ceremonial groundbreaking and to hear about the exciting plans for this new chapter in Bay County Animal Services & Adoption Center. This new facility will not only provide a safe and healthy environment for our animals but will also enhance the overall well-being of our community.
