In the interest of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Michigan, the Bay County Health Department is providing a direct link to a complete list of national consumer product recalls.

Several federal agencies routinely monitor the quality of consumer products purchased in America.  From time to time, these agencies, in cooperation with private industry, issue both mandatory and voluntary recalls on items that might pose a risk to U.S. citizens.

The web site - www.recalls.gov - provides a comprehensive listing of products recalled by the participating agencies.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is the public health agency in the U.S. Department of Agriculture responsible for ensuring that the nation's commercial supply of meat, poultry, and egg products is safe, wholesome, and correctly labeled and packaged.  For information on the latest food recalls, please click on the links below.
