2012 Men's County Tournament
The Annual County Tournament is one of the longest standing golf tournaments in our area. This much anticipated tournament is always full of tradition and excitement. Once a year all levels of amateur golfers come out to the County Golf Course and attempt to mark their name in county history....from Jerry Snable (11 time champion) to recent high school graduates, to your once a week league golfer, everyone wants his shot at winning 'The County'! We would like to thank all participants for having the largest field ever! In addition we had 3 of our 5 flights go into sudden death playoff
This year was no exception!! The following are the Champion Golfers of 2012:
2012 OVERALL CHAMPION
2012 Championship Flight Champion
Justin Holyszko
Round 1 - 72 (E)
Round 2 - 73 (+1)
TOTAL - 145 (+1)
Another win for Justin and it did not happen without a fight. Justin was 7 shots down to Nick Spencer heading into the back nine and gritted his way to make up those 7 shots and tie Nick with a 1 over par 145 total. The two went into a sudden death playoff that lasted 3 holes. After securing par on #3 Justin was on his way to another title. Kudos to Nick Spencer for a great tournament and the added excitement down the stretch. Once again Congratulations Mr. Holyszko!

He is very close at breaking through and winning his first County title | Tom Rezler.. Mr. Fairways and greens proves he still can commpte with the young guns in the County Championship. |
